The best book I read this summer was "The Implosion of Aggie Winchester." I liked the way the story grabbed me with the first page and didn't let go. What kept me reading was the way the author described the events that were happening. The details she used, the way the actions were written. I would recommend this book because it's filled with action and horror and you'll have a hard time putting it down.

The best summer reading book was Mr.Terupt falls again because since I read the first one I thought it was so good. So I decided to check it out, when I started reading the book I was stunned by how much had changed with the characters. It had a lot more drama and most of them felt guilt for what they were doing

My favorite book of the summer was probably Take your best shot by John Coy. I liked it because it was about basketball, my favorite sport and had a different story than just basketball. It was about a boy in sixth grade who's parents are divorced who is having a hard time with basketball, his mom is getting married again and he is getting so stressed out.

Over this summer I read The Giver. I was told by my mom that I should read it after seeing the movie. I liked the way it gave you a feeling that something was missing from the start of the book. I kept reading because I liked it. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

My favorite book that i read this summer was, A child called it and it was a book about a little boy that always gets abused by his mother but when his dad is there his mom doesn't abuse him. Sometimes his mom will make him look for her lost items and when he says that he cant find it then she will punch him in the face and not give him food or dinner. When ever David goes to school he has to lie to his teachers that he ran into a pole and then his teacher found out that he was getting abused by his mom.

My favorite book that I read this summer was Don't Look Behind You by Louis Duncan. The thing that I liked about this book is how it was a mystery book and it had a little of suspense in it. The thing that made not want to book done had to be the were their was a huge problem in the story. In conclusion Don't Look Behind was my favorite book that I read this summer.

I think The Giver is a very good book in the end since it took a very long time to get better. The beginning went very slow but it got better at the middle and the end. I think Lois Lowry by being the first author to write one of these futuristic kind of books helped others to write this type of story. It’s even more impressing that it was made in 1993. I think the more recent books like the Hunger Games Divergent and Maze Runner all have more action and feeling in their books. In The Giver the children and grown ups all have no feeling of love and the other books do.
